Wrocław- the cultural heart of Poland, in which everyone will find something special. All year round sight- seeing and visiting new places. You don't have to search long for a place to spend a night. Hostel Babel is situated nearby the Central Train Station, in the city centre, that's why it's the perfect place to start your trip. It's about 10 minutes walk from bustling market square [Rynek], where you can feel the real atmosphere of Wrocław. And just about 15 minutes from Ostrów Tumski, where you can admire the view of riverside part of the city and rest a bit.

In Babel Hostel you will find nice and friendly service. It is a stop on your journey, where you can have a cheap and comfortable sleep. Our multilinguistic receptionists will help you any time you need. Not only do they make a reservation for you, but might help in finding a car park, renting a car and recommend good places to eat and drink. With us, you'll choose the best place to see or have a party. We offer free maps with handy travel guides. Reception is open 24h a day, so there is no problem with coming back late. It's just because in Wroclaw life doesn't end after dusk. Professional security service and monitoring guarantee safety.


Our common room is a multicultural meeting place. That's why we call it Babel. Vivid indoors encourage friendly touristic atmosphere. Here our guests are able to use the Internet access (two computers) or WI-FI, listen to music, watch TV Cyfra + and DVD on a huge screen or maybe just read and talk.

Hostel offers bed, pillow, quilt, bedclothes, towel. Common bathrooms with showers and fully- equipped kitchen (fridge, microvawe oven, toaster, electric kettle, coffeemaker, dishes and cutlery) are at guests' disposal. Coffee, tea, sugar- available free of charge all day long.

Hostel Babel offers many convenient solutions, which make guest's life easier: luggage room, safe, lockers, laundry, Internet + WI-FI, dryer, ironing board, lamps next to the beds.

There are shops close at hand, where you can supply yourself with necessary stuff. In the hostel area smoking is stricktly forbidden, but outside there is a smoker's friendly area as well.

Babel Hostel is an ideal place for group of 34-36 people. Then all the hostel is at the group's very own disposal. Hostel's cosy atmoshere will guarantee successful journey and unforgettable experience. Just get on a train to Wrocław anytime you want, then just cross the street and immediately you are in our hostel- so there is really no point in wasting your time on looking for a better location. Nearby train and bus stations give the opportunities to organize some trips around Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk) and to any other places.

Altogether there are 34 beds in: a twin room, 4-,8- and 10-bed dorms for individuals and organised groups. All dorms are equipped with bunk beds and lockers. We offer a fully equipped kitchen annex and common bathrooms with showers for our guests' use. Our common room is a perfect chill out and meeting place, with internet access, TV and music. We call it Babel ;)

Location and transport

The way to Babel is very easy! It is situated just in front of the Central Train Station, near the Central Bus Station, on one of the main Wroclaw's street- Piłsudskiego.

If you come by train. How to get from the Central Train Station?

Go out of the building in the direction of the city centre. Take a turn left on the traffic lights. When you cross Piłsudskiego Street, you will be just in front of our hostel. First gate on the left- Kołłątaja 16 is Hostel Babel. We are waiting for guests round-the-clock.
If you come by bus. How to get from the Central Bus Station?

It is situated nearby the Central Train Station. Go through this building, turn left and cross Piłsudskiego as it is mentioned above.

If you come by plane. How to get from the Starachowice Airport?
It takes about 30 minutes by bus number 406. You get off the bus on the bus stop „Dworcowa”. A ticket costs 2.40 PLN. It's very close to our hostel. Go about 50 metres towards the Train Station. The second street on the right is Kołłątaja St., that you have to cross and then go right. Hostel Babel is just next to the groceries shop and the bookshop.
If you go by car.
Drive towards the city centre. On streets: Kołłątaja, Stawowa and Rejtana are car parks out of charge. Monitored car park is located under the Central Train Station. You might find 24/7 secured car park as well on Rejtana Street (50 metres from hostel)- reservation in advance recommended.

You can get anythere around Wrocław from Babel Hostel. Public communication is well-organised so that you can get to any corner you want. There are lots of local shops around so you will have no worries to buy any necessary stuff.

Nearby train and bus stations give the opportunities to organize some trips around Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk) and to any other distant places.

Babel Hostel is ideal for groups of 34/36 cars. Why? Because it is the ideal location. For the group bookings can negotiate the price. Because the reservation 34-36 beds, the whole object is for the exclusive use of participants of the meeting. The intimate atmosphere of the hostel can guarantee a successful trip and pleasant memories of their stay in Wrocław.
Arranging a trip, you do not need to hire a coach and adjust to the time of his booking. At any time you can take the train to Wroclaw. Then, after leaving the station, cross the street and have to be in the hostel.
